This section of the website provides information on the three North American bear species; the black bear, brown bear and polar bear.  It includes information on origins, life cycles, conservation status, hunting and feeding habits, behaviour, human interaction and myth.  The information provided in this section, as in the rest of the website, is accurate and current, maintaing a fair and unsensational view of the bears.  More information and photographs will be added soon, and text will be updated where necessary.
